“The Kule Folklore Centre, University of Alberta, is honoured to partner with the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress to bring this exhibit, Journey to Canada, to Halifax. This year marks the 125th Anniversary of Ukrainians in Canada. Many Ukrainian pioneers took their first steps in Canada on the shores of the city of Halifax. They brought their hopes and dreams of a better life for their families and future generations as they settled throughout this great country. This exhibit conveys their journeys in this new land and we hope you enjoy it.”
