Virtual Field Trip:
Mystery Visit with the Museum

Ideal For: Ages 8 - 14

As one of Canada’s six national museums, housed in an original immigration shed where almost one million immigrants took their first steps in Canada from 1928-1971, there are many ways our Museum is unique! Students will use these clues and more to guess where they are, and then take a virtual tour.

Video chat with a Heritage Interpreter in the “Assembly Hall,” former site of medical and civil examinations for new arrivals. Once the students guess the name, subject or location of the Museum, the Heritage Interpreter will explain the significance of the historic site, and lead an interactive discussion about the Canadian immigration experience.

If you would like to book a virtual visit, please contact Angelique Cishahayo by email or by telephone 902-425-7770 ext. 255.
