John Peller is the Chairman and CEO of Andrew Peller Limited. His grandfather immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1927 and went on to found Canada’s largest Canadian-owned winery. John is the third generation to lead the company, and looks forward to sharing his family’s inspirational story as keynote speaker at Breakfast with a Fascinating Canadian on Wednesday, October 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Many Canadians recognize the tremendous influence the Peller family has made on the wine industry in our country over the past 50 years. The Peller facility in Truro, Nova Scotia, became one of their most productive wineries and recently underwent a multi-million dollar expansion. Their success story exemplifies the important impact immigrants have made, and continue to make, on Canada’s economy, culture and way of life.

We invite you to attend this highlight event, learn more about the Peller family’s incredible journey and continue the dialogue about the importance of immigration in shaping our nation. Support the Museum by purchasing your table or tickets today. All are welcome to attend. Tickets are $75 each or $750 for a table of ten.
