Pier 21 Reads - Blaise Ndala

The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 is delighted to host Blaise Ndala as part of the author reading series, Pier 21 Reads. On Thursday, November 2nd at 7:00 p.m., come hear the Congolese-Canadian present his searing new novel Sans capote ni kalachnikov and speak on themes of immigration and Canadian identity. Narrated by two ex-rebel soldiers, Sans capote ni kalachnikov tells the story of a world obsessed with celebrity, rife with commodified poverty and takes a swipe at capitalism and war. The audience will learn from his first-hand experience as he shares his story and reads excerpts from his novel. This presentation is in French.
