Professional Development Sessions

The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 offers professional development sessions for educators.

The sessions are perfect for social studies and tourism teachers, cadet officers and girl guide/scout leaders of all grades and levels.

Typical programs include a tour of the facility/museum, a screening of our multimedia presentation Oceans of Hope, sample workshop demonstrations, a briefing on services for teachers from the Education Manager, a briefing of services offered by our Research Team, prizes and topic specific lectures.  Programs can be designed to fit the particular needs of your group.

Fees
$6 per teacher – 4 hour program
$4 per teacher – 2 hour program
Taxes included

The program duration listed above does not include lunch or breaks.
There is a 15 participant minimum.
