A Day in May

During May of 1963, a photographer named Ken Elliot spent a day at Pier 21. The pictures he took during his visit are a unique collection that has become a favourite of the museum staff. The images offer a glimpse of the tumult and emotion at the Pier as hundreds of new Canadians arrived.
